Treberfedd is a green haven of tranquility and calm for anybody looking for a little old fashioned peace and quiet.
Great Value Short Breaks and Holidays
Treberfedd Farm offers great value short breaks and holidays during the school term time. Our cottages are not available to book during the school holidays but we do offer very competitive prices outside of the school holidays.
Our four self-catering holiday cottages are built around a central courtyard making an ideal location for group breaks or large family get togethers and celebrations. Please visit our Group Holidays page for further information.
Child friendly holidays
Our self-catering holiday cottages are very child friendly and we now have our own children's play area on the farm. The old pig house nearby to all the cottages has also been made into a sandpit. Our farm is free for you and your family to explore throughout your stay and the kids will love our welly walk which is part of the farm trail.
Dog friendly holidays
We realise that going away without pets is not always easy, which is why we allow well behaved dogs in our holiday cottages (maximum of 2 per cottage). Our organic farm is open to you to explore and walk your dogs throughout your stay. We have also created our own Nature Trail (maps are available in the cottages) which winds its way through traditional hay meadows, unspoilt grasslands and beautiful broadleaf woodlands, perfect for walking your dogs.
A perfect location in the heart of West Wales
So where did the name ‘Treberfedd’ come from? Well, roughly translated from Welsh, ‘Tre’ means ‘place’ and ‘berfedd’ means ‘at the middle’. So together, the name ‘Treberfedd’ means ‘place at the middle’ or, more poetically, ‘the heart of the home’.
Mrs Jones, who lived on the farm in the 1930s, said that one of Treberfedd’s fields represents the exact middle of the county. And we do actually lie 7 miles from Aberaeron, 7 miles from Lampeter and 7 miles from Llanybydder!
Treberfedd Farm's holiday cottages are the perfect location for exploring beautiful Ceredigion. The farm lies within easy reach of Cardigan Bay's great beaches, such as Newquay and also Aberaeron, a pretty seaside Georgian harbour town. We are also within easy distance of Lampeter, the smallest university town in the country which is well worth a visit. See our things to do pages to see what you can explore from Treberfedd Farm's holiday cottages.
