FARMING AT TREBERFEDD
Guests at Treberfedd are free to explore the 67 acres of grassland and woodland at Treberfedd. The land supports a rich variety of plants and wildlife as well as our organic beef and sheep farm.
The grassland is grazed by our herd of pedigree traditional Hereford cattle and flock of rare breed Llanwenog sheep.
Visitors are welcome to follow the nature trail through the woodlands and fields and guided walks of the farm are also available.
The aims of the farm are:
- To produce high quality organic beef and lamb from the pastures at Treberfedd
- To produce healthy breeding stock from our rare breed cattle and sheep
- To manage the grassland and hedgerows for the benefit of wildlife
- And to give visitors the chance to see a working organic farm and purchase our delicious rare breed beef and lamb.
