The Thatched Cottage is a unique Grade II listed Georgian cottage. Originally built in the mid-1600s, this cottage is a rare example of a thatched Welsh farmhouse.
Overlooking the meadowlands of Treberfedd’s working farm, our Thatched Cottage provides enough space to comfortably fit six people while maintaining the feel of a cosy cottage. An equal blend of modern comfort and rustic charm makes this organic farm holiday the ideal family retreat.
Stunning self-catered farmhouse accommodation
The Thatched Cottage consists of a fully-equipped, farmhouse-style kitchen with dining area which leads to a cosy sitting room with comfortable furniture, television, an inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove. A basket of wood will be provided for guests upon arrival.
There is a separate dining room with a large dining table, dresser and a grandfather clock, plus a further sitting room that features some original wall paintings. The bathroom downstairs has a bath, shower, WC and wash basin.
The cottage has a wooden staircase leading to three bedrooms on the first floor: a master double with king size bed, a triple room with three single beds and one single room.
